The trust questions, answered.

Does my email pass through your servers?

No. The backend runs on your computer and talks directly to your mail host over IMAP/SMTP. We never see your mail, your password, or your contacts. There’s no telemetry.

Which email providers work?

Anything with IMAP/SMTP access: mailboxes on your own domain (cPanel, HostPapa, Namecheap, etc.), Fastmail, and most hosts. Gmail and Outlook work via app passwords where IMAP is enabled.

Can Claude delete or send things without me?

No. Reading is strictly read-only. Sending is gated by an allowlist you control, and Claude shows you drafts before they go out. Mail Pro adds a formal approval queue on top.

Mac or Linux?

Windows first. Mac support is on the roadmap — Pro subscribers set the priority.
