Anywhere in the world

How GXT connects to your device — from anywhere

You don't need to be in the same country, city, or network as us. If your device can reach the internet, GXT can reach your screen — securely, and only when you allow it.

1 · An encrypted link, not a back door

The support client builds a direct, end-to-end encrypted connection between your device and our engineer. When a direct path isn't possible — strict firewalls, mobile networks, distant regions — the session hops through a secure relay and stays encrypted the whole way.

2 · Distance doesn't matter

Bakersfield or Bangkok, the flow is identical: you open the client, read us your ID and one-time password, and we connect. No VPN to configure, no ports to open, no shipping a device. Your time zone is fine — our emergency line runs 24/7.

3 · You stay in control

Access is one-time and on demand. You start each session, you watch every action live, and the one-time password stops working the moment you close the app. Nothing runs in the background between sessions.

Coming soon — the GXT private relay: we're standing up our own dedicated GXT Remote Support servers so every worldwide session runs on GXT-controlled, GXT-branded infrastructure — for maximum privacy, a one-click branded client with no IDs to read out, and the capacity to support clients across every region, around the clock.
Step 1 — Download

Download GXT Remote Support

GXT Remote Support runs on RustDesk, a secure open-source remote-desktop client. Grab it for your device below. Nothing runs in the background — you start each session, and it ends when you close the app.

Until our fully-branded GXT Remote Support build ships, these buttons link to the official RustDesk client — it works exactly the same.

Screen view only

Apple's sandbox blocks full control on iOS for every third-party tool — see the note below.

iPhone & iPad, read this: No remote tool can take full control of an iPhone or iPad — Apple's sandbox forbids it for everyone. What's possible is screen viewing, where you share your screen and we guide you by voice while we watch. Note that RustDesk's iOS app is built to control your other devices and can't yet be viewed itself. So if you need us to see your iPhone/iPad screen today, the reliable path is TeamViewer QuickSupport or AnyDesk (screen view only). Call us and we'll pick the right one for your device.
Step by step

How a support session works

Four steps. It usually takes under two minutes to get us on the screen.

Download & open

Grab the client above for your device and open it. On Windows it's portable — no install, just run the file.

Read us your ID + password

The app shows a numeric ID and a one-time password. Call 661-342-6046 or email them to us — that's how you grant access.

Approve the connection

Accept the connection prompt. On Android, toggle on RustDesk Input if you want us to tap and type, not just look.

Watch us fix it

You see everything we do, live. Close the app when we're done — the one-time password won't work again.

What we can do on each device

Capability by platform

Stated honestly, per platform. The short version: computers and Android = full control; iPhone/iPad = screen view only.

DeviceWhat GXT can doNotes
Windows / macOS / Linux Full remote control See the screen plus full keyboard and mouse. macOS needs Screen Recording + Accessibility approval; Linux full control is best on X11.
Android phone / tablet Full remote control Screen view works out of the box. Full tap/type control needs the “RustDesk Input” accessibility add-on enabled (installed from Play Store / system store on newer Android).
iPhone / iPad (iOS / iPadOS) Screen view only Apple's sandbox blocks full control for all third-party tools. Screen viewing is available via TeamViewer QuickSupport or AnyDesk; RustDesk's iOS app controls your other devices but can't yet be viewed itself.
